- Tour ARGO Mill & Tunnel in Idaho Springs

- Hiwan Homestead Museum
- Humphrey History Park & Museum
- Ice Skating at Pine Valley Ranch (FREE!)
- Ice Skating at Evergreen Lake
- Lawson Adventure Park - Mini Vacation or Day Trip ~ The Perfect Family Getaway
- Drive the Lariet Loop, connects the communities of Golden, Morrison, Lookout Mountain. 40 miles scenic circle
- Lookout Mountain Nature Center has a great facility and provides awesome camps and classes for all ages.
- Visit Mother Cabrini Shrine and count the steps.
- Stand on top of Mt. Evans and go fishing at Echo Lake ~ Mt. Evans Recreation Area (usually opens in May).
- Morrison's Natural History Museum
- Paddle Board Evergreen Lake, Lake Wellington, or Bear Creek Lake.
- Ride the Railroad in Georgetown (Opens May 2nd).
- Picnic on the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
- Visit the Sasquatch Outpost and Museum in Bailey.
- South Park City in Fairplay - Restored 1880's Town
- Climbing and Hiking at Staunton State Park in Conifer has amazing views and hikes.
- Rafting our Colorado Rivers
- Ride Horses in Conifer.
- Summit Lake Park - The highest City Park in the nation
- Visit Tiny Town in Morrison.
- Play at Treehouse Adventure Park in Bailey.
- Zipline in Conifer at Denver Adventures, and in Idaho Springs.
