If you haven't visited Bailey's newest play place - Treehouse Adventure Park, its time to make a plan to go! I have visited several Adventure Parks all over the country and have had a great time at all of them, but there is something different about this one. This aerial adventure park is a place we will come back to... and often!
Great Location
The Treehouse Adventure Park is easy to get to. It is right off Highway 285, just past downtown Bailey and across from Riverbend Restaurant. We love that it is close enough to restaurants, a brewery, a winery and shopping - making it part of a perfect family day out!
When you drive up the driveway, you get a glimpse of the fun you will be having. You enter through a cozy yurt where you are greeted kindly and guided through the registration process. Next you exit out the back to a waiting area where the entire playground is your view. Here is where the excitement and anticipation builds!
Safety is a BIG Priority
I noticed several steps taken by employees of Treehouse Adventure Park geared towards patron safety. Just like most adventure parks, guests are first fitted with a harness and safety gear. The friendly team of employees are at the ready to help fit guests and ensure everything is working properly. The second step was when the group is put through a training camp of sorts, where each participant passes through a series of obstacles on a small training course with the help of an experienced guide. Once all were through, we were sent on our way via a trail to the main treehouse. This treehouse is the starting point to all routes, from easy to super difficult. What I was most impressed with, is another experienced guide is stationed here and will re-check your gear every single time you pass through this point. This made a huge impression - as a mom and a publisher who is recommending this park to families all over the area - I felt 100% secure that we were ready to play--safely!
Fun for Everyone
Treehouse Adventure Park is designed to be exciting and achievable for all skill levels (kids aged 7 and up), starting with easier courses on up to most difficult. Guests will be familiar with the way they designate their routes as they use a similar system to ski resorts. You start out on an easy yellow course and work your way through greens, blues, and the most difficult blacks. My family started out together on our first yellow course, but then each of us took off on different routes for the rest of our visit. My daughter and husband adventured towards more of the difficult blues and a black, while I kept it to mostly greens, making it the perfect outing suited for us all.
Courses You Can Grow With
There are many course options criss-crossing overhead in the treetops, I can easily see us going back for more... and more. I was rather nervous my first time through, but by the end of my two hour visit I felt more confident and eager to come back to try some more difficult routes. It is doubtful visitors will ever get bored visiting Treehouse Adventure Park.
The courses are all uniquely designed, made with logs, wood, ropes and wire so you really feel like you are climbing through the top of the forest. You encounter all types of obstacles like tunnels, ladders, ziplines and more. Top rated adventure is found here! Check out the video below to see what I'm talking about!
