There are many successful network marketing companies to evaluate when starting your own home based businesses. As you start to compare these companies there are three main aspects to look at, products, systems and leadership.

First, you want to find a company that has a product you believe in, something you would use yourself and something that you would want to talk to other people about, even if you were not getting paid to share it. This could be jewelry, makeup, kitchen tools, health supplements, coffee or any other product that fits well into the direct sales industry. Most of these companies offer samples of their products so you can try them and start to develop your own testimonial and belief in the product.

Second, the company should have a simple, easily duplicated system that you can learn and teach to others. This is really the heart of the industry. Someone with no experience, or a 20-year veteran, can plug into the system, work effectively and have the same potential for success. You will have the opportunity to get paid while learning the system.

Lastly, and most important, what is the quality of the leadership that is heading up the company? The culture and environment of success is created from the very top. Not only does the leadership help create and roll out the products that you will be using and selling, they also develop the system that is used to do that. You want to find leadership that has the ability and experience to create unity, loyalty and edification throughout the whole company. When the leadership is effective at creating the vision of where the company is going, building their own businesses in alignment with these same values, and then teaching the other distributors how to become better leaders, an incredible synergy is created that propels the whole company forward. The true value in a home based business comes from the personal development that happens while building your business.

If you are “lucky” enough to find a company that will help you grow as a person and leader you will be on the path of an incredible journey. A journey that will enrich many aspects of your life, including relationships with your spouse and kids, views regarding money and success, and the potential to live a life of financial and time freedom.
