Back to Basics: Hiking Basics
Location: Jeffco Open Space Headquarters 700 Jefferson County Parkway, Suite 100, Golden, CO 80401. The program will take place in the Ponderosa Room.

Time: Presentation 6pm to 7:30pm; Q&A 7:30pm to 8pm
Program Description: This series is all about building your confidence as a visitor to Jeffco Open Space Parks, enhancing your skills, and fostering a deep connection with the natural world. In this session we will be working towards understanding the essentials of hiking gear, trail etiquette, and safety as the first steps towards embracing outdoor adventures.
Age group: All ages. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
