The Evergreen Children’s Chorale (ECC) is a vibrant nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to inspiring and engaging young performers in Colorado’s mountain communities. Founded in 1991, ECC offers high-quality musical theater and choral experiences for students in 2nd through 8th grades, fostering creativity, confidence, and community through the performing arts.
Programs and Performances ECC comprises two main ensembles: Prelude: A developmental group for 2nd to 4th graders, designed to prepare young voices for the demands of musical performance. Company: A select ensemble for 4th to 8th graders, offering more advanced performance opportunities. Each year, both groups participate in a fall choral concert and a fully staged spring musical. Additionally, ECC hosts a summer choir camp, providing immersive musical experiences during the summer months. Over the years, ECC has staged numerous productions, including classics like Beauty and the Beast, Annie, Cinderella, Mulan Jr., and Seussical Jr. The chorale has also collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the Evergreen Chorale, Jefferson Symphony, Colorado Ballet, and Colorado Opera Troupe.
