Whether it's during the school year or in our action-packed summer camps, CCMRD’s childcare programs give kids the opportunity to build friendships, discover new interests, and develop lifelong skills—all in the beautiful natural setting of Clear Creek County.
Beginner Outdoor Adventure Camp
Beginner Group (Ages 5-10)
$75 per day ($15 deposit due at signup)
This group will focus on introducing the fundamentals of outdoor recreation in a fun and supportive environment, helping children build the skills and confidence to explore the outdoors. Activities will include smaller, flatter hikes, camouflage games, creek exploration, fly fishing, park hopping, and splash pad fun.
Intermediate Outdoor Adventure Camp
Intermediate Group (Ages 6-11)
$75 per day ($15 deposit due at signup)
The intermediate group is designed for campers with some prior experience who are ready to take on more challenging outdoor adventures. Campers in this group will participate in longer, more strenuous hikes and activities such as rock climbing, hiking, and park hopping.
Advanced Outdoor Adventure Camp
Advanced Group (Ages 9-15)
$75 per day ($15 deposit due at signup)
For campers with a solid foundation and a desire to push their limits, the advanced group will focus on more challenging hikes and outdoor skills. Activities will include long-distance hikes, whitewater rafting, cold water plunges, and fire-building skills, led by our Outdoors Survival Specialist, Roary Archibald. The minimum age for this group is 9 years old.
