Ignite The Mind was developed by a licensed and distinguished science public school teacher who realizes that our kids are either behind or uninspired by science and math. We opened our doors in 2022 as a way to combat what the pandemic did to our kids, to help all students love math and science and to help them find a passion in STEAM which drives motivation to learn more, potential going into STEAM fields as adults.
We offer SAT Test Preparation for all students, as we are affordable yet highly impactful. We also offer IB/AP Chemistry and Biology Test Preparation so that students know what the tests want students to be able to do and explain to achieve the highest scores. We offer summer STEAM Camps for ages 7+ and three weeks for ages 3-6 specifically. These camps are designed to inspire, engage and learn all about the topic they chose. These camps are amazingly FUN... just ask our former campers, many of whom are returning this year.
Lastly, we offer Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Math tutoring for all ages, and we love our educational enrichment for kids who want to keep learning new and fun things when school is not in session. Our goal is to show kids that science is cool and something they want to learn more about.
We strive to ignite passions in STEAM for the benefit of kids' future endeavors and we are eager to partner with teachers, students, parents and our community to build revolution in STEAM education.
The All Day STEAM Camps give students the opportunity to attend both the morning and afternoon camps. Mornings start at 8:00 a.m. and end at 12:00. We will have your child eat a packed lunch brought from home with us between 12:00 and 1:00, supervised free time. The afternoon sessions start at 1:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. For the All Day STEAM Camp, you will receive a reduction in the rate of signing up for two camps. Camps are generally for children 7 and older. If you need to drop your child off earlier than 8 or pick them up later than 5, please let us know your needs!
We’ve decided to also offer a camp for our younger kiddoes (3 to 6) the weeks of June 23-27 and July 28-August 1st, 2025
