The mission of Nurtured by Nature is to provide a community of young learners immersed in and connected to nature, using children’s intrinsic sense of wonder, creativity, and imagination. We believe in guiding the whole child by providing opportunities for thinking, feeling, and doing. Our child-led, play-based approach allows children to think outside the box, solve problems, or try new things. They feel self-worth and autonomy for their accomplishments and learn through trying, doing, and experimenting. Our small child-to-adult ratio enables each facilitator to give every child personalized attention and guidance based on where the child is and the skills they are working towards.
