Hi, my name is Laura! I live in the Colorado foothills at 8,600ft and created my baking blog to share my high altitude recipes. I have been baking since I can remember and I like to "experiment" in the kitchen. I enjoy being able to make homemade baked goods that are organic and don't have any unnecessary ingredients that you find in store bought products. I know high altitude baking can be tricky, I grew up at sea level and realized I had to change my recipes when I moved to Colorado! You will find both a high altitude recipe and a sea level recipe on my blog.
I also have recipes that are gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free. My son is intolerant so I have converted a lot of my recipes to address that. These recipes will also have the high altitude conversions!
Baking can be tricky, especially cakes. I have specialized in making cakes, and I share my baking tips to help you on my blog!
