Ovation West Performing Arts and Mountain Youth Musicals Summer Musical Theatre Camp (SMTC) gives students from kindergarten through high school the chance to sing, dance, act, and shine in fully staged musicals. Even more important, each child leave feeling inspired, empowered, and more confident than ever.
SMTC runs June 1–19, 2026, at Center Stage in Evergreen and offers thoughtfully designed programs for each age group. Led by experienced musical theatre professionals, the camp blends education and entertainment in a way that keeps students engaged and excited to learn. Campers build an understanding of musical theatre, including music literacy, stagecraft, dancing, singing, improv, acting, and fun.
Now in its third year as a collaboration between Ovation West and Mountain Youth Musicals, this popular Evergreen camp continues to draw families looking for a meaningful performing arts experience. Pre- and post-care options are available as well.

Three: A Musical
Good things come in threes — bears, pigs, mice, billy goats… until Baby Bear goes missing! A playful adventure full of familiar storybook characters and big laughs.
Creepy Creatures
Songs, silliness, and fascinating critters! Campers explore the fun (not-too-scary) world of creatures and their habitats through music and movement.

Cinderella: If the Shoe Fits
A lively, humorous take on the classic fairy tale, featuring rhyming narrators, singing villagers, royal characters, and of course, a magical happily ever after.
Tom Sawyer: A Musical
Mark Twain’s beloved classic comes to life on stage. Adventure, mischief, and Americana charm make this a hit with both performers and audiences.
Middle School (3-Week Session)
Disney’s High School Musical
Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High navigate friendship, first love, and finding where they belong — all while balancing school and activities. A perfect show for growing performers.
High School Opportunities
Apex Production: Mean Girls
High school performers take on this high-energy, contemporary musical in a focused three-week production, under Mountain Youth Musical’s Apex Company.
Tech Theatre Program
For students who love behind-the-scenes magic, this program teaches lighting, sound, sets, and production skills while working on High School Musical and Mean Girls.
