Dear Friends,
As 2024 comes to a close, so does a beautiful chapter in my life. After much reflection, I’ve decided to retire from my role as publisher of Macaroni KID Evergreen, Bailey, Conifer. This decision is bittersweet, as my time with Macaroni KID has been filled with so much joy, creativity, and connection.
I started this journey with my sister Jamie, and we built the foundation of this website together. We, along with our families, hosted booths at fairs and festivals to meet subscribers and business members, and gathered content for articles and guides. My sister moved to publish her own MacKID site for a few years and I continued with Macaroni KID Evergreen and took over Macaroni KID Arvada. We grew up in this community, my husband and I raised our children here, and now that they have "grown and flown" I have realized it is time to let a new publisher take over.
Over the last 13+ years, it has been my privilege to serve this incredible community, curating family-friendly events, resources, and activities to make your lives a little easier, more fun, and filled with ways to support this beautiful community. From highlighting local businesses to sharing parenting tips, I’ve cherished every opportunity to connect with you - and connect you to the amazing local businesses that make this community so beautifully unique.
To the local businesses, parents, caregivers, and families who have supported me along the way—thank you. Your enthusiasm and engagement have been the driving force behind my work. Knowing that this website, the newsletters, and events have brought joy and value to your lives means the world to me.
As I step into this new chapter, I do so with a heart full of gratitude for the relationships and memories we’ve built together. While I’ll miss the hustle and bustle of Macaroni KID life, I look forward to spending more time with my husband, traveling, exploring new hobbies, and maybe even revisiting some old ones!

Macaroni KID Evergreen, Bailey, Conifer will continue to be a trusted resource for our community. I’m excited to introduce you to Laura Kuehl, who will take the reigns in 2025! I look forward to following along and watching Laura grow into this new role! I encourage you to stay connected and continue to support this amazing community resource.
