Girls on the Fly is a non-profit with an educational-based curriculum dedicated to promoting self-confidence and helping young girls to develop a positive body image and teaching ways to cope with depression, suicide, and negative self-talk through fly fishing and outdoor adventuring.

They are offering fly fishing and outdoor experiences for girls ages 10 to 15 this summer. This summer's events are on July 20,  August 17, and September 21 from 9 am to 5 pm (check in at 8:15 am.)

These events are an all day experience that would require a ride to and from (girls would be dropped off and picked up) the private fishing club, located in Shawnee, CO. There is no cost to the participants! Lunch will be provided.

The day will include small group sessions that focus on Fly Fishing, Mind-Body Connection, Coping Strategies, Resilience, Environmental Stewardship, Building Confidence, Peer Support, and Community Engagement, for girls of ages 10-15 and all skill levels. They will even be providing lunch!

You must register to attend. Call or email Kelli@GirlsOnTheFly.org   (720) 625-2538.

Events will be held at Rowdy Trout Ranch at 52212 HWY 285, Shawnee, Colorado. DO NOT just show up. You must register to attend.
