Send your love a special love note through Loveland Colorado's Re-Mailing Program
For 78 years the Loveland Commerce & Loveland Postal Service have partnered to re-stamp the valentines of friends, family, and lovers from around the world.
The program was initiated back in the 1940's, as a stamp collection program but shifted to sending love around the world through the re-mailing program. Every element, the cache, verse, and card are all created by local poets and artists.
You can send your own Valentine's card through Loveland Colorado to get a special stamp, or you can purchase a card online and have it inscribed, stamped, and sent directly to your loved one.
To send your valentine through the Sweetheart Valentine Re-stamping program follow these instructions:
- Address the Valentine with the recipient’s address
- Stamp the Valentine (with the appropriate postage)
- Place the Valentine in a larger, first-class envelope (be sure you have enough postage as the letter will be returned to you if you don't)
- Stamp the larger envelope and address it as follows:
Postmaster – Attention Valentines
446 E 29th St.
Loveland, CO 80538-9998
Make your cards a bit more special by using one of the Forever stamps from the Love/Wedding section of the United Postal Service website.
