With so much to do, fitting all the fun into the schedule could prove to be difficult. Here is the itinerary we followed to make the most of our getaway!

Day 1:

Plan to arrive in the early afternoon and head straight to Monarch Mountain to hit the snow tubing hill.
Tubing at Monarch Mountain in Colorado is an exhilarating experience, as you speed down the snow-covered hills with the wind and snow in your face. The views are spectacular, the staff is fun and friendly, and you'll be treated to a party vibe with music pumping while you're playing on the hill. Bring all your winter gear to bundle up so you can fully enjoy the experience without a winter chill.

Head to Mount Princeton Hot Springs to check into your room or cabin.
The resort offers a range of accommodation options, from cozy cabins to rooms with rustic charm and stunning views. All accommodations at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort are beautifully designed and equipped with modern amenities to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. No matter your room preference, you'll have easy access to the hot springs (2 days included with your overnight stay!) and all the resort's amenities.

Put on your suit, grab your robe, and make your way to the hot springs.
The hot springs are open to guests year-round. The Spa & Club side (reserved for guests 16+) features a relaxation pool and three cascading hot springs. At the Historic Bathhouse, you will find two family-friendly pools and the Creekside Hot Springs. The Hillside Rooms have the Infinity Pool nearby. In warmer months, there's a pool with a 400' water slide that adds to the fun. (Open Memorial Day-Labor Day)

Enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at the Mary Murphy Steak House.
Mary Murphy's is Mount Princeton's flagship restaurant offering a diverse menu of American and International cuisine. Be sure to reserve a table at this local hot spot.

Head back to your room to enjoy a glass of wine or a nightcap before your comfortable night's rest.

Day 2:

Start the day with a quick breakfast before a winter day of fun.
Grab a fresh smoothie or juice along with breakfast at the Juice Bar found in the Spa & Club area. Everything is made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

Spend the day skiing or boarding at one of the oldest ski areas in the country, Monarch Mountain.
If you're looking for some adventure, hit the slopes at the nearby Monarch Mountain ski area, which offers adventurous skiing and snowboarding opportunities. You'll be skiing on "real" snow (Monarch doesn't make a single flake!) and be treated to the most spectacular views, especially when you're on the top of the Continental Divide. Definitely make a point to ride the Panorama Lift to the top to check out the Monarch Peak locator and take in the spectacular views.

Break for lunch at Elmo's Bar & Grill.
Elmo's is the "secret" hot spot and watering hole known for their house-made bloody marys and stadium-style nachos. It's a real treat to find a full-service restaurant that you ski right up to. We highly recommend the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers (delish!).

Make a stop at nearby Salida to browse through town.
Salida is a charming town located nearby to both Monarch Mountain and Mount Princeton Hot Springs. Explore the shops and galleries in the historic downtown area and find a cozy place to enjoy a meal.

Take a dip in the river (especially in the winter!)
Soaking in the hot springs pools in Chalk Creek at Mount Princeton is an experience like no other. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and natural beauty, the hot mineral water works its magic, easing sore muscles and providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The pools vary in size and temperature, so whether you prefer a hot, steamy soak or a more moderate temperature, you're sure to find a pool that suits your needs.

Day 3:

Start your day with another soak in the hot springs, or take a class at the Spa & Club!
Fitness classes (complimentary to overnight guests) are offered 7 days a week with options from water yoga, Aqualates, Aqua Zumba, and more!

Check out the fat bike or snowshoe rentals at Mount Princeton.
Take advantage of a two-day Fat Bike rental and cruise through the snowy trails, or strap on some snowshoes and explore the winter wonderland at a slower pace. Both activities are great ways to stay active and enjoy the beauty of the Colorado mountains during the winter season. And bonus... when you're done, head back to the hot springs to soothe your tired muscles.

Still have time before you head home? Book a spa treatment!
In addition to the hot springs and winter activities, Mount Princeton Hot Springs has a beautiful spa facility where you can treat yourself to a range of rejuvenating treatments. The resort's spa amenities feature a range of services, from massages and facials to body treatments (overnight guests receive 10% off treatments).

What makes this destination ideal for moms is the fact that it offers a range of activities that cater to everyone's needs. If you're looking for some quiet time, take a dip in one of the hot springs pools and allow the warm water to work its magic. If you're looking for some adventure, hit the slopes at the nearby Monarch Mountain ski area, which offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Seeking playtime? Tubing at Monarch Mountain in Colorado offers an exhilarating experience, as you slide down the snow-covered hills with the wind in your face.
