Mountain Resource Center is a non-profit community organization in Conifer. They help connect individuals and families with the services they need and provide all services free of charge. This fall they are offering several different early childhood and family education programs. Circle of Parents
- Offered on Mondays from Noon-2pm beginning September 13
- Join other parents and caregivers share support, tips, and advice, or just talk.
- Parents meet while children ages 8 and under explore and learn with teachers in adjacent classrooms.
Growing Great Readers
- Offered on Mondays from 4-5:30pm beginning September 13
- Free small group literacy practice for your Kinder-2nd grader
- Multi-sensory, hands-on lessons to practice foundational reading skills
Outdoor Adventures
- Offered on Wednesdays from 10-11:30am beginning September 15
- Small groups will meet outdoors at local parks.
- Activities, story times, hikes, mindfulness, and more!
Parent Connections: Nurturing Families
- Offered Thursdays from 9:30-11am beginning September 16
- Learn practical strategies that can help your family.
- Learn how to foster resilience, social connections, and social-emotional skills.
- Separate children's program available for ages 8 and under
