Weight loss programs shouldn’t be all about food, and the Jenny Craig program is certainly so much more than just a diet. It is a complete weight loss program that provides support and accountability that go along with a nutritious diet, making weight loss easier to do than it would be to lose weight than if you were to diet on your own. For me, it is the perfect combination!

Since a chef-crafted menu that includes 3 meals and 3 snacks each day is an important part of the Jenny Craig program, I thought it would be fun to share with you what a day in my life on the program looks like.

First, I want to mention that there is no room for hunger on this program. I am eating 6 times a day and including lots of fresh vegetables and some fruits throughout. Cravings aren’t much of an issue either, as snacks are built right into my day’s menu. Enjoying a smart-sized bag of cheese curls or a perfectly portioned chocolate lava cake is part of my success (and one I look forward to each day!) 

Let me take you on a culinary journey through a day on the Jenny Craig Rapid Results Program. 


Breakfast
Today, I started my morning with the Jenny Craig Cheddar Cheese Omelet, an egg omelet smothered in a silky cheese sauce, a side of roasted red potatoes with green & red bell peppers, fresh fruit, and a serving of milk. I also enjoy one cup of coffee every morning with a bit of Vanilla Creme Shake as the creamer.






Morning Snack
My morning snack is the perfect pick-me-up in the form of a Jenny Craig bar. When on the program, you get to choose from several varieties, but my favorite is the Sweet and Salty Peanut Bar. It is loaded with peanuts and dipped in a delicious yogurt flavored coating, satisfying my salty sweet tooth any day of the week.






Lunch
I love a hearty pasta meal, and just like my homemade version,  Jenny Craig’s Classic Lasagna with Meat Sauce is made with layers of pasta, hearty tomato sauce, beef, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses. I paired it with a fresh leafy green salad topped with Jenny Craig’s perfectly portioned Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing.





Afternoon Snack
In between lunch and dinner would normally be my go-to time for random pantry raids. The Jenny Craig program is training me to reach for a serving of fresh fruit instead. Today I enjoyed a juicy, sweet apple sprinkled with cinnamon.  





Dinner
For dinner, the Stuffed Green Bell Pepper was on my menu. This meal is also similar to something I would make at home. A green bell pepper stuffed with ground beef in a savory tomato sauce. I love a fresh salad, so I added a bed of leafy greens mixed with a variety of my favorite vegetables then topped with a splash of lemon juice, some lemon zest and sodium free salad topping.





Snack
After dinner I get to celebrate my day with a small treat. Tonight I enjoyed a Vanilla Buttercream Cupcake garnished with colorful sprinkles (sprinkles help make anything a celebration, don't they?) It tasted so good with a hot cup of tea.


So much yummy food! All that food helps to prove that there is no room for hunger on the Jenny Craig Rapid Results program! It amazes me every day that I get to enjoy all these chef created meals and successfully lose weight along the way. I am please with my results so far, having lost just under five pounds to date.(Average weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week for members following the program.)
