The Venue Theatre is the place to be this summer! We have an exciting variety of camps and classes for kids entering kindergarten through 12th grades - and a summer choir for adults, too!
Our all-day one-week camps:
- Packed with adventure - including arts and crafts, hikes, ukulele lessons, singing and acting on stage, learning double-dutch and jump rope tricks, field trips and more! One camp goes to see the Broadway production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at DCPA and both adventure camps get to take a field trip to a farm in Buffalo Creek to learn about organic gardening, caring for goats and pigs and chickens, beekeeping, have a picnic lunch and take a hike in the Pike National Forest. Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5:30
- Middle school students can take advantage of our Play and Pay it Forward camp which includes the field trips to the Broadway Show and the farm in Buffalo Creek, but they will also create and follow-through with a community service project during the week with the help of our high school mentors. Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5:30
