We are lucky in Evergreen, Conifer and Bailey to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, our parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new friends!), and it's FREE local recreation!
I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for our top five playgrounds and parks to visit in the Evergreen, Bailey & Conifer area.

What we love about Arrowhead Community Park:
One of our favorite parks by far! This park has amenities sure to keep kids of all ages happy. Beautifully kept and amzing playground equipment complete with a volleyball court! The park is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous mountain backdrops and expansive green fields. Bonus that the park is near one of our favorite venues Eudaimonia! Park is owned by Christian Fellowship Church and Indian Hills Fire District. Leased and maintained by Evergreen Park and Rec District.

What we love about Kittredge Park:
Beautifully maintained with a large grassy area perfect for picnics. Park separates playground from creek with fence for safety. Perfect creekside spot to cool off (supervised of course) in the summer. Also offers a nice paved path perfect for budding cyclists. Park owned by Jefferson County. Leased and maintained by Evergreen Park and Rec District.

What we love about Marshdale Park:
A fun playground in a beautiful setting. We like this playground because it has lots of room to run and play. EPRD has done some great improvements to this park in recent years. Check out the new turf field/track, new seating, renovated playground, improved walking path and more! Park is owned and maintained by Evergreen Park and Rec District.

Bailey
What we love about McGraw Park:
This park is perfect for any train and/or history lovers. Explore the train car and historical little village of buildings and train car. Park set in Beautiful Downtown Bailey next to the picaresque river. The bridge is a popular place for family photographs. Owned by the Park County Historical Society.

What we love about Pine Valley Ranch Park:
Our family loves to make a day out of our visit to Pine Valley Ranch Park. Bring a picnic, fishing poles and hiking shoes to enjoy a summer day in the sun. Features a small visitor center open on weekends and holidays. Shelters can be reserved for parties.
