Our community is one of the biggest reasons many of us live here. It has breathtaking views, is quiet, wonderful businesses that contributes to its uniqueness, but what makes this community really stand out is the people in it.
One person who strives each and every day to make this community a beautiful place is Annette Aldridge. If you are involved in the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce, the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce, Drive Smart or many other non-profit organizations, you have most likely crossed paths with Annette. You may have seen her ringing the bell outside King Soopers during the holidays, or helping at many of our community events. Annette is a pillar in our community and always eager to lend a helping hand.
Now we have the chance to return the favor.
Annette suffered head injuries, facial fractures, and breaks in her vertebrae on Aug. 17th when she fell from her deck at home. She was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life where she remained in the hospital for several weeks. To help with medical bills, the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce has set up an account in her name. To help fund this account, Chrisy Boldra of Healthy Smiles, a fellow Conifer Chamber Ambassador and friend of Annette's is holding a fundraiser during September and October.
