Kids work hard the entire school year long learning and growing their minds. When I take a look back at the artwork my kids have created, and the stories they have written, I am always amazed at how much they have learned. Just looking at the difference in their handwriting tells me a lot.
We know kids learn quickly, but they can lose the momentum they gained throughout the school year during the summer break. The long break can make it difficult for them to get started when school gets back in session. Just like camps that focus on sports and exercise, summer enrichment programs can help keep their minds in shape so that they don't lose what have learned and can get back into school much more easily.
Lucky for us, our community offers a variety of summer enrichment options perfect for all ages. If your kiddo isn't of school age yet, there are even great childcare options that will teach them as they play.

Summer Enrichment Summer Camp Options
- EVERGREEN COUNTRY DAY SUMMER CAMPS: Evergreen Country Day is a private pre-school, elementary, and middle school that offers a variety of summer camps for kids aged 2 - 8th grade. Camps run in week-long increments from June 6-July 21. Click here for more info.
- EVERGREEN VISION AND LEARNING CENTER MATH CAMP: Stop summer learning loss and join us for a week of reviewing and learning math concepts. We are offering a full week camp this summer engaging kids in math concepts and having fun at the same time. June 26-30. Click here for more info.
- HARMONY HILLS ACADEMY SUMMER CAMPS: Harmony Hills Academy is a non-profit private Elementary and Middle School offering Flexible or Full-Time summer care for all kids ages 5-12, June 5-Aug 11. Children do not need to be enrolled as students to attend the summer enrichment program. Mrs. Hollis’ Summer Camps will run June 12- Aug 3. All of the camps are appropriate for kids ages 10+.
