Parking is at the Aspen Park Park and Ride, shuttles will be running throughout the event.
FAMILY COMPETITIONS - $25 per family
- All families will receive (1) souvenir tube included in their entry
- Objective: Get as many runs down the sledding hill in 10 minutes as possible.
- Families may consist of as many people as they like.
- You can give a starting push to the luging team member.
- You may choose to ride the tube however you like.
- More than one person may luge at a time.
- You do not need to carry your tube back up the hill, tubes will be available at the top of the sledding hill.
- The family with the most runs in 10 minutes wins.
- All teams will receive (2) souvenir tubes included in their entry
- Teams of 4 will compete for the Mt. Lugo Snowing Tubing Championship Trophy. This is annually traveling trophy. Winners will have their name engraved on the trophy and they will be able to showcase the trophy for one year.
- Objective: Get all 4 team members across the finish line 4 times in the shortest amount of time.
- You can give a starting push to the luging team member.
- You may choose to ride the tube however you like.
- More than one person may luge at a time.
- You do not have to carry your tube back up the hill, tubes will be available at the top of the sledding hill.
- The top 4 teams with the best time will compete in a final race in which all team members luge at the same time holding their four tubes together down the hill.
- The team with the best overall time will win.
There will be obstacles on the sledding hill. Aerial dismounts are encouraged! An award for Best Aerial Dismount will be given to the individual with the best aerial dismount during the competitions.
Costumes are encouraged. A team award will be given for Best Costume.
WHAT TO BRING
- Costume! If you need face painting to complete your costume, Rachel's Creations, face painter extraordinaire will be available to help, donations accepted.
- Warm clothes!
- Food and beverages will not be served at Meyer Ranch. Bring your own snacks and a thermos of hot cocoa!
- Blankets and chairs for spectators
Choose between a flight of beer, wine, or Rocky Mountain soda. Souvenir glass included.
Join us at one of two different sessions 12p-2p and 2:30p-4:30p.
If you are participating in the Mount Lugo Luge Team Competition, you need to specify tickets for the second session.
