Jo Ann M. Colton's presents: Jump "Write" into Spring....

Wishing on a star will not always make dreams come true, but using one's imagination can provide us with the power of creating an altered state of reality. And if we throw into this mix the visionary mental imagery as seen through the mind's eye of a child coupled with the written word, then just about anything is possible.

If your children are between the ages of 8 and 13, have fertile imaginations and love to express themselves through the magical "world of words", this School Break Workshop is calling their names to attend!

Content of Each Session
  • Through a series of fun and creative exercises that include pictures, their own drawings, and other tools, we will allow our creativity to flow and our imaginations to guide us to write our stories. They will focus on the following.
  • Important factors that make up a good story. Tips for improving their writing on a daily basis and developing story line ideas.
  • Three better ways to begin a  story other than "once upon a time" and better options for creating believable characters...
Lots of hands-on writing, imaginative handouts, and FUN will make this a memorable experience for the young inspiring writer.

Whether your child wants to write about real life adventures, or yearns to craft fictional stories full of fun, fantasy and/or exciting escapades, sign them up today. All they need to bring with them is their enthusiasm and visionary ideas!

The cost is $80 per child for the 4-Day (March 23 - March 26) "Jump Write into Spring" Children's workshop.
ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE! Must have a minimum of three students per workshop session (9:30am-12:30pm, or 1pm-4pm)
